Staffordshire Moorlands Community Social Action Grant
A grant to support grassroots organisations in running community-building activities
A new small grant funded from Staffordshire Moorlands District Council's UK Shared Prosperity Fund and delivered by Support Staffordshire is now open for applications from local community groups based in the Staffordshire Moorlands Local Authority area.
The Staffordshire Moorlands Community Social Action Grant offers 20 grants of up to £500 each to support grassroots organisations in running community-building activities. This could be a local celebration, a workshop, community project, or a volunteering initiative that sparks lasting connections.
The aim is to strengthen neighbourhood ties, reduce social isolation, promote community action through volunteering in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
The funding is available during the financial year 2025/26 Deadline for applications: Friday, 18th July 2025 11.59pm. For the activity to be completed before 31st January 2026.
If you are a voluntary or community group with a simple constitution, registered charity, a CIC (Community Interest Company), a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation), a new group (even if not yet formally constituted - but willing to adopt a simple policy) or a Parish Council on behalf of a new group you are eligible to apply.
