Checkley Neighbourhood Planning Referendum 2 May 2024

A referendum on the adoption of the Checkley Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday 2nd May 2024 to decide on the question below:

'Do you want Staffordshire Moorlands District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Checkley to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?'

Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 16th April 2024. Applications can be made online register to vote

If you cannot attend your polling station, you can apply to vote by post. Applications, amendments or cancellations to postal vote arrangements must be received by the Electoral Registration Officer before 5.00 pm on Wednesday 17 April 2024. Alternatively you may choose to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf, applications must be received by the Electoral Registration Officer before 5.00 pm on Wednesday 24 April 2024. You will need to show photographic ID to vote in the polling station. To find our what ID you can use, or how to get an accepted form of ID details are on thehe Electoral Commission website.
