As stipulated in the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council Taxi Licensing Policy ALL Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Drivers MUST sign up to the online Disclosure and Barring Serivce (DBS) update service. Failure to do so may result in your application being delayed or your licence not being renewed.

EMISSIONS REMINDER - At first application, vehicles must meet or exceed Euro 6 (Diesel) Euro 4 (Petrol) emissions standards. At renewal from 01 April 2025 vehicle licences WILL NOT be renewed in respect of any licensed vehicle that does not meet or exceed Euro 6 emissions standards (Diesel) Euro 4 (Petrol) emissions standards.
