European Election - 23rd May 2019

An election is to take place on Thursday the 23rd May 2019 for the European Parliament - West Midlands Region.

To vote in this election you must have registered by Tuesday 7 May 2019.

Please be aware that due to the short notice nature of this election, some of the normal venues used for polling are not available, and alternatives have been found.

Please check your poll card carefully, as the polling station may have changed.

The results count for the West Midlands region will take place on Sunday 26th May as this election takes place over three days due to different countries voting on different days.

23 May: Netherlands, UK
24 May: Ireland, Czech Republic (which has two-day voting also on 25 May)
25 May: Latvia, Malta, Slovakia
26 May: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden

Birmingham City Council is responsible for collating the West Midlands results. Once all results have been collated the declaration will be announced by their Regional Returning Officer.
