How can I get a copy of the completion certificate?
In the first instance contact the Building Control Department by completing our online form.
The Building Control Support Team will look through the Building Control Systems and will contact you within 3 days to advise on the availability of the documentation and if available what fee is required.
Please Note: It is a legal requirement for Local Authority to retain information relating to an application for 15 years from the date of completion. It is likely that any data beyond this period will have been securely destroyed, however a manual search of older records can be carried out if requested, but a further fee is payable for this and there is no guarantee any information will be available, but the additional fee is still payable.
