Councillors' Community Initiative Fund
Small one-off grants are available from the Councillors' Community Initiative Fund to local groups and organisations
Purpose of fund
Set up to encourage more people to work together, the fund encourages people to volunteer their time for common beneficial purposes.
Each councillor has a total of £500 available to support work relating to:
- one-off events or ongoing projects
- capital items (materials, resources, equipment) or income and running costs
- new projects or existing projects
Who can apply?
Applications can be submitted by local groups and organisations after discussions with their local councillor
Where there is more than one councillor for an area or your suggestion covers more than one area, our councillors can work together to pool some or all of their funding.
