Michelin Development in the UK offers the following support to small and medium sized enterprises up to 250 employees (SMEs) based in North Staffordshire.
Access to finance
- Unsecured low interest loans £5,000
- Note: in most cases the applicant will be required to invest some of his or her own equity into the project. Funding is usually linked to job growth. The funding is private so it can be used to match fund public and other forms of loan funding.
Access to advice and expertise
- Access free of charge to independent advice from Michelin's considerable in-house expertise e.g. anything from health & safety to recruitment, or sales training to productivity improvement.
- Where the product or service is appropriate the client may be invited to tender for Michelin business.
- Finally a press release will be created for successful applications, thus providing the potential for valuable publicity.
- Applicants are free to choose either financial help, expertise support or both.
