The Leek Town Centre Masterplan was adopted as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) at the Council Assembly on the 26th March 2014.

The aim of the Masterplan is to:

  • identify opportunities for jobs and business growth through the redevelopment of vacant and underused land and property;
  • support potential increase in visitor expenditure;
  • and to strengthen the town's role as a service and retail hub.

The Masterplan is used to direct the District Council's and other partners' approaches to improving the town centre.
