Help shape cultural future in the Moorlands

Staffordshire Moorlands has a strong connection with the arts, culture and heritage - and the District Council is setting out a vision for how culture will continue to shape the lives of residents, organisations and businesses in the coming years.

The culture strategy will include a clear action plan showing how the vision will be achieved, and the Council wants to hear from people of all backgrounds as it develops the strategy.

Councillor Bill Cawley, Cabinet Member for Communities, said: "Culture means different things to different people - all of us have ideas about what it is and our preferences for what we enjoy, get involved in, and would like to see more of in the Moorlands.

"That's why it's important that we hear from as many people as possible - it doesn't matter whether you have a background in arts or not, your views matter.

"We're building on our rich culture heritage pride of place to ensure that we attract future investment and improve opportunities to enjoy cultural activities for everyone so make sure you have your say in helping shape what that looks like."

You can share your views by completing this short survey by the closing date on Monday 11th August at 10am.
