Information on the councils interactive planning map

The planning map shows:

  • Planning applications, both decided and in progress.
  • Key planning constraints such as flood zones, conservation areas, green belt, listed buildings, tree preservation orders and more.

The online maps are simple and easy to use. For step by step guidance, click on the user guide at the bottom of the page.

Please Note: Maps cannot be printed to use as location plans to submit with planning applications as they will not be set to the correct scale.

The data on the mapping system is not a definitive record and does not replicate the full range of data obtained from our Land Charges service. When our Land Charges team receive requests, they check that all data for the required property is visible on the map. If you decide not to book in with them, we cannot guarantee 100% data accuracy. Two working days notice is usually required for the necessary checks to be carried out.
