Leek Indoor, Outdoor and Butter Market - Every Wednesday
On Wednesday there are three locations to Leek's markets:
- Leek's traditional Wednesday outdoor market is well worth a visit enjoying over forty stalls, selling a wide variety including local food stalls, homewares and clothing. The stalls trail through the town centre mingling with the town's thriving high street.
- The indoor Victorian Butter Market including fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh fish, a farm shop, home and garden accessories, gifts, ladies clothing and speciality stalls for those hard to find items.
- The 20th Century Trestle Market with up to 30 stalls including a bedding, tools, shoes, jewellery, ladies and men's clothing and more seasonal stalls.
A delightful historic market town brimming with unusual architecture and fascinating history, Leek is perfectly placed for a relaxed break away exploring the town centre or for the more adventurous and active types taking on the challenging terrain of the Peak District National Park and the great opportunities for all kinds of outdoor activities we're sure you'll find something to your liking.
Butter and Trestle Market
The wonderful Butter and Trestle market which houses a selection of local traders and food venders is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 8.30am - 4pm.

Additional Market Days
Leek's vintage, collectors and craft market run by Archer Fairs is held outdoors on Leek Market Place every Saturday.
On the 1st Sunday of the month is the hugely popular 'Totally Locally' Sunday Supplement Market, featuring over 80 local food and artisans stalls with many of Leek's independent shops, cafés and pubs open for the day.
