Leek Markets have been at the heart of the towns shopping experience since the first Royal Market charter was issued by King John granting Ranulph de Blondeville, 6th Earl of Chester, the right to hold a weekly Wednesday market and an annual seven-day fair in Leek in 1207.

Fast forward another 800 years and the town's markets are still thriving

Located in the heart of the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands, on the edge of the Peak District, Leek's Markets trade all year round.

Market days are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. On Wednesday Leek's Charter Market (established in 1207) hosts a variety of stalls throughout the town centre.

Wednesday Charter Market - Leek

Based in the town centre, Leek's traditional Wednesday outdoor market has over forty stalls lining Leeks streets, sell a wide variety of products including local food, homewares and clothing.

Wednesday Trestle Market - Leek

Trestle Market with up to 30 stalls including a traditional sweet stall, seasonal flowers, jewellery, ladies and men's clothing and more seasonal stalls.

Saturday Trestle Market - Leek

In the market place is the popular Archer Fairs Vintage, Craft and Collectors Market with over 40 stalls selling a huge variety of antiques, collectables, memorabilia, garden accessories, jewellery, books and much more.
