Assisted collection

Assisted collection review - January 2018

We know our assisted collection service is important to people who need it.  We want to make sure we can continue to provide the service efficiently but we also know circumstances change over time.  To check our records are up to date we are asking everyone we help to complete a renewal form to confirm the service is still needed.

Completing the form below is the quickest way to update us and make sure we continue to provide this service for you.

We can only help you with your bins if there are no other able bodied people over 16 at your address and you

  • have a permanent disability, illness or condition making you unable to present your bins and bags for collection e.g. chest or heart conditions.

  • have a temporary disability, illness or condition making you physically unable to present your bins and bags for collection e.g. recovering from surgery or during the last three months of a pregnancy.

Please make sure you provide the names of all residents at your address when you complete the form.  We may check names against our Council Tax records and the Electoral Role to confirm eligibility.

Your GP may need to confirm your medical circumstances.

Please contact us if your circumstances change and you no longer need this service.
