Self guided walks

Our Staffordshire Moorlands self guided walks are a fantastic way to explore the local countryside.

The walks are surveyed annually by Leek Ramblers.

Staffordshire Moorlands walks are marked on the 1:25,000 scale Ordnance Survey maps covering the area.

Downloadable maps and guides for 15 walks covering 108 miles of the Staffordshire Moorlands are available at the bottom of the page.

Printed versions of the leaflets are available from Leek Tourist Information Centre or council offices in Biddulph and Cheadle.

We also manage a five mile section of former railway as part of the Biddulph Valley Way and a mile of the Leekbrook Line in Leek.
