Coming Home

6th October to 10th November

What started out as a local European war soon became a global war that lasted from 1914 to 1918, involved 28 nations from around the world, saw millions killed and became known as The Great War or The War to End All Wars.

Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One, this exhibition remembers the lives of those soldiers from Leek and throughout the Moorlands who left rural communities to go to war.

Local Historian Cathryn Walton will be carrying out Guided Walks and a Slide show talk during this exhibition.  For more information contact the Tourist Information Centre on 01538 395530.

Open Monday - Saturday 10am - 4pm.  Free Admission.
