Peak District and Derbyshire Towns and Business Forum

Peak District and Derbyshire Towns and Business Forum

After a brief lull we are delighted to announce the return of the Peak District & Derbyshire Towns & Business Forums to Thornbridge Hall. These popular gatherings attract an eclectic variety of local businesses, organisations, volunteers, event organisers, local authorities and many more with a passion for our beautiful county. We share a commitment to making the most of our local natural, built, and human assets to ensure our part of the world is welcoming, creative and successful.

The Forums, in the beautiful Carriage House at Thornbridge Hall near Ashford-in-the-Water, start with networking lunch at 12:00, then from 1pm we hear from national experts, local entrepreneurs, and dynamic activists. The topics, speakers and mini-workshops are selected on the basis of feedback from participants, and on current topical subjects that may help you continue to up your game in a changing trading environment. There is lots of interactive activity and time to network including the return of the now famous 'Cake Break' mid-afternoon, and we finish at 5pm with an opportunity to taste the latest from out host's brewery.

Attendance, including parking, lunch and cake are FREE.

This workshop is free for visitor economy businesses based in Derbyshire to attend and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund through our Developing and Growing the Visitor Economy within Derbyshire project. Attendance will require you to compete an eligibility application form prior to attendance. By booking on to the workshop you are agreeing to attend, should you be unable to attend, failure to cancel your booking within 48 hours of the workshop will result in us invoicing you for £250 + VAT per person; the commercial cost of the session.
