Information about the Garden Waste Subscription
This service will start on 29 June. Collections for households not subscribed to the new service will finish either week starting 15 or 22 June depending on your collection schedule.
Our new Garden Waste Subscription sign-up is now open.
The price for any household subscribing to the 2026/27 scheme is £46 per bin.

How to sign up
If you would like to continue using your garden waste bin you will need to subscribe to this service.
For residents on bin collections - Garden Waste Subscription portal - register and sign up for your account here
Please use the 'Register' icon to set up your account for the portal, you will then be able to search for your address details and then subscribe using the 'Garden Waste Service' tab.
Most people will be able to complete this subscription easily by signing up via the online portal. However, if you need additional support to complete the online form, please call our customer service team on 0345 605 3014.
If any errors occur whilst attempting to process payments please report it to us by completing the form below.
For residents on bag collections -
Residents currently on bag collections will need to complete the following form to subscribe for collections.

What happens after you subscribe
Once you complete our online subscription form we will send you a permit sticker to place on your bin. This identifies your bin to our crews so make sure you follow the instructions on adding the permit correctly.
What goes in the bin.
- grass
- leaves
- weeds (not Japanese Knotweed or Ragwort)
- flowers and plants
- hedge clipping or prunings
- branches and twigs
- windfall fruit from fruit trees and bushes in your garden
If any other waste is found in your bin upon collection it will not be emptied. Food waste should be put out for weekly collection in your food caddy.
