LEISURE KEYS offer district-wide discounts to council-backed sports, leisure and arts activities.

They can be used by people claiming means-tested benefits including Income Support, Working Tax Credit, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit and Income Based Job Seekers Allowance. People with registered disabilities or who receive Disability Living Allowance, Long-term Incapacity Benefit or Severe Disablement Allowance are also eligible. Full-time students and the 60-and-overs can also benefit.

Keys cost £2.85 and are available free to the long-term disabled. It is valid for a year for facilities such as gym use; swimming; sports sessions including badminton, tennis and bowling; as well as arts and crafts activities.


How to apply for a leisure key today

To apply for a Leisure Key online, please follow these three steps.

1. Complete the online application below.

2. Wait for an email confirming your application is being processed.

3. Visit your nearest Leisure Centre bringing with you two forms of identification(to prove eligibility) and your payment.
