Overview & Scrutiny Panels
The Council has established four Overview & Scrutiny Panels:
A Better Staffordshire Moorlands Overview & Scrutiny Panel
Community Overview & Scrutiny Panel
Health Scrutiny Panel
Services Overview & Scrutiny Panel
Member Improvement Board
The function of these Overview & Scrutiny Panels is to review and scrutinise both prospective and past decisions of the Cabinet and Council.
A Member Improvement Board has been established to provide a more co-ordinated approach to the two work areas of Overview and Scrutiny and Cabinet.
Reviews into particular issues. Working Groups are established to carry out the work of a Review and comprise of Members, Officers and any relevant external witnesses and partner organisations.
