Arts Grants for Individuals

The scheme has recently been modified to allow wider variety of personal and community development.  Individuals, who are actively involved in arts activity either professionally or as an artist wanting to develop their potential, are encouraged to apply for the Grants for Individuals scheme.  All applicants must be resident within the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Grants are awarded directly by the District Council and are available for a wide variety of artistic needs.  The scheme encourages the development  in standards of creativity and good practice, with a variety of option ranging from the  purchase of new equipment, meeting the costs of travel and training or helping to support the artist profile in the community by initiating participatory arts projects.  Propposals can benefit the individual or also have a postiive effect on the local community and economy.

Please be aware that grants area assessed in rounds with deadlines for submission.

Arts Grants to Groups

Grants to Arts Groups are distributed by the Biddulph, Cheadle and Leek Arts Forums on behalf of the District Council to support innovative arts projects and events across the Moorlands with an emphasis on participation and access.

Leek and District Arts Forum

Support for arts organisations and arts festivals working in close partnership with the district council arts development team.

Any interested organisations should contact the arts development team before completing the forms to discuss available funding and the suitability of any potential projects..
