Group: Conservative and Independent Alliance

Married for 40 years with 3 children and 5 grandchildren, I have always lived in the Staffordshire Moorlands.  Educated at Leek High School, Leek School of Art, Madeley College of Education and Keele University, I then followed a teaching career.

For the last 32 years I have lived in Cheddleton and have been a parish councillor for 25 years, having served a number of times as chairman.

I believe that my role as a District Councillor is to promote the interests and well-being of all who live and work in the Staffordshire Moorlands, to reduce unneccessary waste, promote efficiency and to ensure that council tax is spent wisely.
