Contact the council

You can contact Staffordshire Moorlands District Council online, by email, by telephone, through your television, in person, using our kiosks, by post or fax.

On-line

You can use our online forms to make a payment, report a problem or request a service. We also have an online form for Customer Feedback and in addition general enquiry forms for all other questions or requests.

Email

If you would like to contact the Council by email please first complete one of our online forms described above - your enquiry will then be given a unique reference number. The Council will acknowledge your enquiry and provide you with regular updates direct to your email address so you will be able to track the progress of your query step by step. You should receive a full reply within 10 working days.

By Telephone

The Council is open to take your telephone calls Monday to Thursday 8.45am to 5.15pm and 8.45am to 4.45pm on a Friday.

Television

You can use the Council’s website through your television if you have suitable internet browser (e.g. via a games console)

Out of Hours Emergency Telephone Numbers

Outside normal working hours the Council can still be contacted by telephone for emergency calls (e.g. dangerous structures, environmental health or homelessness). Please dial any of our numbers listed above and select option 1 when prompted.

In person

You can visit one of our offices or one stop shops in Biddulph, Cheadle or Leek, to seek help and advice on council services.

Kiosks

You can access Council services using kiosks at one of our Help Point locations.
